What do we do?

Association for the Advancement and Development of Knowledge and Skills SEPET is an independent, self-governing association that in programmatic and organized way works to promote and advance the local tradition, knowledge, skills, humanity, natural and intellectual resources, and products, through local and regional cooperation.

Scuba Diving

Although scuba diving is currently the first and only area, in 2018 we formed the Scuba Diving Team “Amphibians” as a result of perennial scuba diving activities.

Our story

Once upon a time in Sarajevo

Scuba diving, as one of the oldest sports-technical disciplines, has existed in Sarajevo since the mid-80s, when our senior members started the story of scuba diving in the city on the Miljacka river.

University Scuba Diving Club URK

During this period, young people, mostly students, were engaged in scuba diving activities who operated the then “University Scuba Diving Club URK”, which organized great underwater actions and scuba diving activities during the period of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. We wanted to bring this story back to Sarajevo, but in a way to activate and motivate as many students as possible to practice this sport.

Scuba Diving Team “Amphibians”

Today, the Scuba Diving Team “Amphibians” records participation in International eco actions, underwater photography competitions, the first dive under the ice in the Balkans, and discovery scuba diving projects with international and local students.
